Mark your calendars gang, CLG is back with its first event of 2018!
“If you really look closely, most overnight successes took a long time” - Steve Jobs
Only a few short decades ago success was easily defined as the accumulation of wealth and possession - buying a house, having a family… ‘keeping up with the Joneses’. Societal roles also placed certain limitations on womens’ ability to achieve success outside of the home - the effects of which we still see today in the lack of women in senior roles, not only in the tech sector.
In more recent times, however, unilateral ideals of success have changed and there is no longer one set definition of success to strive for.
Join us for the evening to celebrate and be inspired by the unique stories of successful women in tech - hear how they have defined success and achieved it, against the odds, in an industry which has many barriers and inequalities to women.
What to expect
Part networking, part storytelling, and all 'round good times. Our events are a platform for knowledge sharing and showcasing amazing women in the technology sector. They're tailored to accommodate our diverse group of attendees from newbies to novices interested in tech.
