To the untrained eye, code can look like something from the secret service. But in just two hours with Code Like a Girl, you’ll be creating your first HTML/CSS project and putting some new skills in your coding toolbox!

This interactive and fun workshop will cover the following:

  • What is the language of the web?
  • How do you create HTML documents (websites)?
  • What are HTML and CSS and what’s the difference anyway?!
  • How to style your new webpage with CSS

Code Like a Girl is a social enterprise committed to liberating the talents of women and girls by providing them with the confidence, tools, knowledge and support to enter, and flourish, in the world of coding.

Yes! We’ll be providing laptops.

I’ve never done any coding before?!
Great! This workshop is designed for complete coding newbies and we’re here to support you. If you have done some coding before, there will be optional opportunities to challenge yourself and get extra creative.
