Stephanie Andrews

PhD Researcher in 3D Stereoscopic Media and Virtual Reality Creative Director

Andrews has a genre-spanning career revolving around the intersection of art and technology. Highlights include Technical Direction at Pixar on ground-breaking computer animated films and bringing innovations in research and curriculum to the University of Washington Digital Arts and Experimental Media program as an Assistant Professor. Andrews has worked extensively in 3D graphics production and development, including virtual reality, modeling, rendering, motion capture, programming, and interactivity design. 

Thea Baumann

Founder and CEO of Metaverse Makeovers.  Australian creative technologist

Thea has racked up considerable time in China, having explored the frontiers of China’s Shanzhai electronic design ecosystem and Post-90s digital culture. Her expertise lies in Human-Computer Interaction, emerging technologies, digital art, and innovation. She is the inventor and designer of Metaverse Makeovers' glam tech products and mobile experiences - and the patent pending Metaverse Nails. 

Lauren Grimes 

Android and iOS developer at Isobar

Lauren develops bespoke native solutions for both the android platform and Apple SDK. She'll will be joining us for the night to talk about her involvement on Holden's latest Virtual Reality test drive experience using Oculus Rift technology.
