Speak your mind Tell your story Share your vision
Code Like a Girl events have featured some of Australia's most influential women in technology. We search year-round for hidden talents and presenters that can share their knowledge and story with our community.
The sole purpose of our organisation is to encourage more girls and women to step into the world of tech and coding. Our events are a great place for women to come together, network and knowledge share. We are constantly sharing our learnings with our network and industry and supporting those who value knowledge because there is always more to learn and apply.
We're extremely passionate about raising the profile of women in STEM as a way to create more visible role models to our community. If you know someone who belongs on our stage, or if you belong there yourself, we want to hear from you! You don't have to be a pro and our welcoming audience loves fresh talent and public-speaking newbies.
Just you, be you.

Seeking PanelistS (NSW, SA & VIC)
We learn more from our failures than we do our successes. If you've a story of failures and resiliance we'd love to hear from you
Due to the variation in our audience we often advise that content for talks should be approximately 60% high level (anyone from any background should grasp this) with 40% technical (let’s get down to the nuts, bolts and technical details). This allows everyone to take a little something away from the night.
Attendees come to our events with the expectation we'll share knowledge from the coding and tech industry and so we try focus any content very much around this area. Feedback from our past events has shown that there is a higher engagement and enjoyment when speakers share their personal stories rather than discussing their company or product. Please bare this in mind when applying.
